JE-SUS: The son of the Virgin Mary, a descendant of Abraham through David of the tribe of Judah, the long promised and long expected Messiah, born in Bethlehem, and crucified in Jerusalem. While on the earth he did many good works, healing, deliverance, and raising the dead. He appeared to his followers after Resurrection and instructed them to make disciples of all peoples – a Kingdom mandate that evolved into Christianity.
